Rachel Dawkins is a dedicated and thoughtful professional who thrives at the intersection of business success and the greater good. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant at Parkstone Financial and Parkstone Companies, Rachel brings a wealth of experience and an always-optimistic approach to her role. An alumna of Valdosta State University, she holds a B.F.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit Management.

Rachel’s career is marked by a series of impactful roles that have honed her skills in communication, event planning, and strategic marketing. Her journey began in the Student Affairs department at Valdosta State University, where she managed student ambassador programs, coordinated campus tours, and led significant marketing initiatives that increased university applications by 50%. Her innovative thinking and leadership earned her the Valdosta State University Student Union Employee of the Year award in 2017-2018.

Beyond her work at VSU, Rachel has served as a marketing intern at Archbold Medical Center and a program intern at First Baptist Church of Valdosta. In these roles, she executed successful marketing campaigns, managed social media content, and organized community outreach events. Her commitment to community service is further evidenced by her involvement in mentoring programs like Younglife/Wyldlife and the Big A Club, where she has dedicated years to tutoring and providing alternative opportunities for at-risk youth.

At Parkstone Financial, Rachel leverages her extensive background in administration, organization, and client relations to drive the company’s operations and vision forward. She is passionate about utilizing her organizational and communication skills to ensure efficiencies and build relationships. Her dedication to learning and helping others continues to be a cornerstone of her professional philosophy.

Originally from Tallahassee, FL, Rachel spends her free time on her passion: volleyball. As a former player, Rachel is now Assistant Club Director and a coach for Fission Volleyball Club, where she continues to invest in the next generation of players and young women.
